Crossing Bridges is a 501c3 dedicated to the men and women and their families who have served in the Armed Forces. The founder, Shawna Walker, served eight months in the Air National Guard before an injury cut her time short, but even though she was unable to complete her service she has held the military close to her heart. Shawna's husband Dwayne, a Desert Storm Vet, served 13 1/2 years in the Marines and one son is currently serving in the US Navy. In 2017 Shawna decided that more needed to be done to assist military families who have sacrificed so much to make us free. So in partnership with her husband and the help of a few dedicated volunteers, Crossing Bridges was formed.
